Publication Process

The publication process at Meujile: Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra follows a systematic and rigorous workflow to ensure the academic quality and integrity of every published article. It begins with the Initial Submission, where authors submit their manuscripts through the OJS platform, followed by an Initial Screening by the editorial team to evaluate alignment with the journal’s focus, scope, and formatting requirements, as well as a mandatory Plagiarism Check. Manuscripts that pass this stage proceed to a Double-Blind Peer Review, where at least two independent experts evaluate the work without knowledge of the authors' identities to ensure objective assessment. Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the Editor-in-Chief issues a Decision which may be an acceptance, a request for minor or major revisions, or a rejection. Once a revised manuscript is officially Accepted, it undergoes a professional Copyediting and Proofreading phase to refine language clarity and technical accuracy. The final stage involves Layout Production, where the article is formatted into its final PDF version, assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI), and eventually Published Online as part of a scheduled issue, making it freely accessible to the global scholarly community under an open-access policy.
