Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to Meujile: Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra must align with the journal’s aims and scope and comply with the established author guidelines. Submissions are accepted exclusively through the online submission system and must demonstrate academic relevance, originality, and scholarly contribution. Manuscripts containing plagiarized content will not be processed further.
Authors are strongly advised to conduct similarity checks using plagiarism detection software prior to submission. As part of the editorial screening, the journal management will also perform similarity assessments before manuscripts proceed to the editing and layout stages.
Each manuscript submitted to Meujile: Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra is evaluated through a rigorous peer-review process involving at least two independent expert reviewers or a reviewer panel. Reviewers are appointed based on their expertise and are responsible for providing objective and constructive scholarly feedback on the manuscript.
The standard peer-review duration ranges from 8 to 16 weeks, depending on the review and revision process. An accelerated review scheme (Fast-Track), with an estimated duration of 4 to 6 weeks, may be implemented upon mutual agreement between the Editorial Board and the author.
The final decision regarding manuscript acceptance, revision, or rejection rests with the Editor, taking into consideration the reviewers’ evaluations and recommendations. To uphold academic integrity, plagiarism screening is conducted using Turnitin Feedback Studio or iThenticate (Crossref Similarity Check). The journal applies a double-blind peer-review system, ensuring that the identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential throughout the review process.
